Soul Partners and USAID "Economic Resilience Activity” Project has signed a cooperation agreement

USAID “Economic Resilience Activity” Project has signed cooperation agreement with Soul Partners.

Within the scope of cooperation agreement Soul Partners will carry out analysis of SMEs in Donetsk, Luhansk and southern part of Zaporizhzhya regions, will select the companies, which require financial support for the development of their business, and will support them throughout all investment attraction process stages.

Such support is to allow the companies from east and south of Ukraine to develop their business, invest in new technologies, increase the number of workplaces and advance their competitiveness on operating markets.

It is expected that the size of the required investments, which shall be attracted, will be in arrange of $500 thousand to $1 million.

USAID "Economic Resilience Activity" initiative is intended to last six years (2018-2024) and aims to improve the competitiveness and attractiveness of the eastern Ukrainian economy in response to Russian aggression. Targeted regions include territories of Government control areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, and separate cities in Zaporizhzhia oblast (focus on the Sea of Azov region). USAID Project places special emphasis on working with internally relocated persons, women, youth, Roma, veterans, the elderly, and other underrepresented groups to ensure their participation in the region's economic success. USAID Project also works with local and regional governments and non-governmental organizations to determine a realistic vision for the future of the region's economy
